Dial-a-Brew, Take Two
Monday, January 8th, 2007 | 6 Comments »I spent part of yesterday updating the back end of the Dial-a-Brew. It now runs off a MySQL database instead of the Perl script I lifted from another site years ago. Yeah, yeah, who cares. Check it out at asstastic.org/beer.
The point of this post is to get your suggestions for Dial-a-Brew features. The dedicated brewserver is now more scalable and robust, so I feel confident that with your help, the Dial-a-Brew can become a best-of-class Web 1.0 app.
Current known bugs features
- The famous spinning bottlecap isn’t active yet
- The colorblind design
- Some reviews are now dangerously unfunny, three years later

Gambling for Guinness: Week 4
