Brewing update: prognosis negative?
Monday, February 18th, 2008Everything looked, smelled, and – most importantly – tasted normal this weekend as I moved the beer I’m now calling Miracle Porter into the secondary fermenter. I spent a good deal of time carefully examining Miracle Porter for off smells or other telltale signs of infection; I found none. A quick check this evening confirms that the yeast is slowly falling out of the beer as expected.
I won’t say we’re out of the woods until the first bottle is emptied. Actually, I won’t ever say “we’re out of the woods.” When the beer’s ready, I’ll post some pics.

isn’t prognosis negative one of those fake movies they went to on Seinfeld?

Ha, yes it is! I thought I was making an Office reference but I’m obviously confused about my fictional fictional films.
For the record, I was thinking of Michael Scott’s play Threat Level: Midnight when I was writing this post.

How could anyone forget G. Costanza doing the prognosis negative line over the intercom in Jerry’s apartment? Seriously. What’s wrong with you?
And why are you so frantic about this beer? Don’t to read the literature? Relax! Have a home brew!
