In this home on ice
Friday, January 19th, 2007It snowed this morning for the first time all year. It wasn’t much, just enough to cover the sidewalks and cars. Some guy threw a snowball at me on my way to the G train this morning. I love Brooklyn.
Nick:

me:

it’s not as catchy as the first one, but i think it’s growing on me

And you know how you said in the comments section of your last post that you needed to diversify for different parts of your market? Yeah, well, I’m pretty sure this post will only realy resonate with your Brooklyn readership.
I’m not sure yet how I feel about the new CYHSY, but I do know that I love the thought of Stamp Your Feet Say No.

CYHSY, f yea. There is so much good new music coming out this spring.
1. Radiohead, watch out for the Live at Bonnaroo DVD they promised this fall. I went to that show and it was killer. 2.5 hours, 28 songs, YUUUUUUUUUUUUS!
2. Arcarde Fire, ‘Neon Bible,’ http://www.neonbible.com for interesting animation and background music
3. Bloc Party, ‘A Weekend in the City,’ should be good

[...] Onto more fun stuff. The week was topped off by leaving early on Friday. It was nice to catch-up on my favorite comedies: 30 Rock and Scrubs and jam out to the Flaming Lips and CYHSY. (Music selections inspired by this blog post) I also got a PS2 slim from eBay, madden 07 and a memory card. The plan is play madden online with a friend from Iowa. This is two years after I sold my original Ps2 to buy a dvd player, since I never played games. Even though I’m usually quite tired after work, I’m still less busy and stressed-out compared to school. So, I’ve been working on my console Football skillz and have chosen the Bengals as my team. Once my game gets up to snuff, I’ll be ready to take on all comers. [...]
