While I have no trouble believing this is a good sandwich, even excellent, I don’t know if it is deserving of the granted title. After all, everything tastes great with the champagne of beers.
One Twenty Six has a crab cake sandwich on their lunch menu and the only word to describe it: Magnifique!

Thanks for your comment. I anticipated this response. Allow me to outline the keys to this sandwich:
- The untoasted bagel is key as it moderates the temperature of the entire sandwich.
- Garlic and onion chunks of the everything bagel add a significant flavor dimension not found in most fried fish sandwiches.
- OK, yes, everything does taste better with the High Life. But that’s why I included it in the recipe! The sandwich would be only 80% of what it is without that key ingredient.

I hope this alcohol induced creativity isn’t filling the metaphorical void in your fantasy football heart. We will meet again on diamond and gridiron. Until that day comes, merry giftsmas.
